Fausto Isidro Meza-Flores is the alleged leader of a major transnational criminal organization based in Sinaloa, Mexico, responsible for trafficking massive quantities of heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and marijuana into the United States. Originally indicted in May 2012 and charged with additional drug-trafficking violations in November 2019, Meza-Flores remains a fugitive believed to be hiding in Mexico. His capture would significantly disrupt one of North America's most dangerous drug-trafficking networks and help dismantle a heavily armed criminal organization that has controlled drug production and distribution across multiple Mexican regions.
